Having selected my outfit and studied it’s form and characteristics i must now research 8 seminal pieces of work from a list of architects, designers and sculptures that has been provide, and study their forms and components etc. for the purpose of inspiration and development.

the first piece of work i have chosen is christo’s wrapped buildings. the decision was an easy one to make. he uses what would appear to be large sheets of fabric to cover the buildings immediately giving the piece a look that would suit researching for a project in fashion, and also the fact that he’s working with buildings ties in the with the very architectural feel that the strong lines and bold shapes on the chosen outfit portrays.

i just need to do a few drawings and studies of the buildings and I’m good to progress to the next piece.
